DESCRIPTION:
MUNICIPALITY OF PREMOSELLO CHIOVENDA - In the scenic hamlet of Capraga (altitude mt. 818 ÷ 951), immersed in the greenery of the Val Grande National Park but reachable by car via an almost entirely paved road, for sale a group of rustic cottages with adjoining land and surrounding woods.

Alpine pastures such as these, loaded until the 1950s by mountain people, today are intermediate stops on hiking trails. Among them Capraga, recorded in the oldest documents as Cravaga, is first mentioned in a deed of 1389; today it is inhabited by those who have a second home but in 1617 it had more than 160 inhabitants. Its name seems to be linked to the large number of goats that were raised in past centuries. Capraga is divided into the districts of San Bernardo, Biogno, Bertòlo and Sasso Termine.
